The 9th International Vintage Volkswagen Show in Hessisch Oldendorf has taken place from June 25th to 28th, 2026, in the town of Hessisch Oldendorf in Lower Saxony (Hameln-Pyrmont district), organized by volunteers for Beetle enthusiasts. The event was organized by Volkswagen Veteranen Hessisch Oldendorf e.V., a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving classic Volkswagens and their history. The first Vintage VW Show in Hessisch Oldendorf took place in September 1996 on a very small scale. Over the past 30 years, the meeting has continued to grow, bringing Beetle enthusiasts from all over the world to this lovely small town in Lower Saxony, where many friendships have developed. True to the claim of the Porsche Club of America: "It's not just the cars, it's the people."
